Don't Give Up Yet
As tough as Nigeria presently appears, I do believe that my brothers and sisters out there; especially the younger generation have what it takes to ensure that the country turns out a better place for us all.
Regardless of the challenges you have had to contend with in the course of pursuing your dreams, I'm going to appeal to you to hold your head up high and believe that one day, your hustle will pay off.
Except for individuals like Davido and a number of others born with silver spoons, others had to work really hard to get to the shiny spot they occupy today.
Regardless of where your talent slants, I want to advise against ever giving up on that dream of yours. Please don't! Nothing good comes easy especially in a country where everything appears to be upside down and abnormal.
One day, you will look back at times like this and laugh over the high-standing hurdles you had to cross.
Never compromise on your dream. It belongs to you and nobody or anything has the right to take that away from you.
What would have happened if Genevieve Nnaji had compromised on her dream and settled for selling shoes and perfumes?
What would have happened to Chimamanda Adichie if she had compromised on her dream and settled for applying for a job at Tantalizers?
What would have happened to 2Face if he had compromised and settled for selling DVD players at Alaba International?
Whatever it is that you dream, you can achieve. Push a little harder and ask questions from people who have been successful in your field. Hone your skills till you stand out from the crowd.
The future belongs to you if you stay loyal to your dreams. This, I know.
