How Nigeria’s Hollywood Actor, Hakeem Kae Kazim Reacted to Ambassadorial Appointment

These are exciting times for Nigerian born Hollywood actor, Hakeem Kae Kazim as he was recently appointed as the new global ambassador for Africa 2.0.

Founded in 2010, Africa 2.0 is composed of over 450 young African leaders from more than 41 nationalities sharing a collective vision for Africa.

Members are committed to the development of the continent through effective initiatives.

Members of its Advisory Board include Chairman Africa 2.0, Hon Olusegun Obasanjo, H.E. Joaquim Kissano - former President of Mozambique and Reverend Jesse Jackson amongst others.

Africa2.0 is a D-ink Tank (a Think Tank that Does Things) committed to thought leadership through concrete and exemplary actions.

Reacting to the appointment, Kazim said, “I am truly honoured to be associated with Africa 2.0 - a pioneering platform for a new generation of African leaders to inspire and create a solid infrastructure - to shape a brighter future for our continent.”

The actor’s new role will see him participate in Africa 2.0 global campaigns spanning across its 29 Chapter Countries.

Kazim has featured in Blockbusters like Pirates of the Caribbean, 24, Hotel Rwanda, Half a Yellow Sun and Last Flight to Abuja.
