Onyeka Nwelue Unveils ‘The Burnt Europe Tour’
Debbie Edwards Talent Management has announced Nigerian poet, novelist and filmmaker, Onyeka Nwelue's ‘The Burnt Europe Tour.’
He is expected to tour France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Portugal, Spain and Czech Republic.
A recipient of a 2013 Prince Claus Fund Ticket Grant, Nwelue is a visiting lecturer of African Studies at the University of Hong Kong and will embark on a short tour of Europe this September till October, promoting his debut audio poetry, ‘Of Flowers and Sex Symphonies’ (La Cave Musik/Jungle Records 2014) and poetry collection, Burnt (Hattus, 2014), which has been described by British-Hungarian poet, George Szirtes as 'breathless.'
He is currently in Mexico and attending the Festival of Poetry of Maracaibo in Venezuela.
